Slow Cooker Chicken Marsala

Cold weather is here, and a lot of the time that means that you just want hearty comfort food with as little work as possible — enter the slow cooker! Chicken Marsala is one of my boyfriend’s favorite dishes to cook, so I decided that this time I’d make it for him — I’d just tweak the recipe a bit so that I don’t have to work as hard, but it would taste just as fresh and good.

I love the Holidays! All the love, kindness, laughter and hugs fill up my heart. Unfortunately, all the rich food and decadent desserts fill out my pants! Roasted Lemon-Thyme Chicken with Fall Veggies

I’ve lived in the lower-North East U.S. all of my life. From Pittsburgh, to White Plains, NY, landing in Philadelphia, and now in middle-of-nowhere Ohio. And in all of these places, fall seems to come on FAST and disappear into winter just as quickly. Taiwanese Three Cup Chicken (aka 三杯鷄)

As some of you might already know, I’m a Taiwanese-American. Growing up around these parts, my mom enrolled me in Chinese School.  It’s not like normal school – all it is is it’s a 2 hour class on Saturday where a teacher taught you Mandarin Chinese and Chinese Literature.  One of my fondest memories from back then was my mom and I would always grab dinner at the local Taiwanese restaurant and I would ALWAYS beg for Taiwanese Three Cup Chicken (aka San Bei Ji or 三杯鷄).
