The big question every time I’m making dinner is… do I want to go stove top or oven? I will say I normally stir fry, as it is easy and fast. However, some days, I just don’t want to stand at the stove and pay attention to what I’m cooking! What’s nice about this Baked Ginger Chicken Drumsticks recipes is that this is one of those recipes you can just pop in the oven, and relax (okay – maybe you do have to go back and turn the drumsticks over at one point, but other than that…) So if you bought a pack of chicken drumsticks and you’re wondering what to do with them, try this recipe!
Ingredients
- 5 Chicken Drumsticks
- 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tbsp Herbes de Provence
- 1 tbsp Ginger Powder
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- Salt and pepper, as desired
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 °F.
Cover the drumsticks in olive oil. By the way, the quantity of drumsticks doesn’t really matter as long as you can fit them all on Baking Pans without touching each other. But of course add more spice as needed if you make more
Mix all the spices (garlic powder, herbes de provence, ginger powder) together.
Dip/cover the drumstick with the spices.

Place the drumsticks on a baking pan without the drumsticks touching each other. (Optional: You can line the baking pan with aluminum foil first for easy clean up!)

Bake for 30 minutes, then take out the drumsticks and flip it over to the other side.

Bake another 15 minutes or until cooked thoroughly. Since I’m paranoid, I like to cut through one of the thicker drumsticks with a knife to check that it looks done.
