Yes! You totally can, and it’s very easy. It only takes about 10 minutes, and you will have super tasty pan fried asparagus ready to serve!
If you still prefer the oven roasted Asparagus, no worries! The recipe can be found right here.
Is Pan Fried Asparagus Healthy?
Asparagus is super healthy for you! One cup of cooked asparagus has 40 calories, 4 grams of protein, 4 grams of fiber and 404 milligrams of potassium. That’s awesome because potassium is good for blood pressure. Asparagus is a nutrient-packed vegetable. It is a very good source of fiber, folate, vitamins A, C, E and K!
The fact that it’s pan fried really just means the added oil – I use olive oil as it is pretty much one of the healthiest cooking oils there is.
So yes, Pan Fried Asparagus is a pretty healthy veggie dish!
How many Calories is in Pan Fried Asparagus?
This recipe is estimated to be about 118 per serving. But that’s really taking in to account ALL the ingredients, such as all the cooking oil, so unless you are literally licking off all the olive oil from the dishes and cooking pan, it should be even less than that.
