Taiwanese Food Court Meal: Beef Noodle Soup

Published: May 20, 2012 · Modified: Aug 11, 2025 by Tina Tsai · This post may contain affiliate links · 7 Comments

Beef Noodle Soup is one of my favorite meals! While visiting Taiwan, I will always get me some. I just love that this is one of those meals you can find any where in Taiwan, include the Mall Food Court!

Unfortunately, it's not as widespread in the states. But you are a fan of this dish - you can make your own! Here's my recipe!

三商巧福牛肉麵
Beef Noodle Soup at 三商巧福

It's simple too.  All it is is Beef, Beef broth, noodles, and maybe some simple bok-choy, or something in there.
One of my favorite places in Taiwan to have Beef Noodle Soup is actually a restaurant called 三商巧福.  I actually had this meal in the food court of a mall in Taiwan.  I did notice that other than the Subway and one burger option in the food court, all the other options were a full on meal - not fast food.  The cost, however, can be cheaper than an unhealthy McDonald's meal you find in the US.
I wish this stuff was in our food courts in the states!

Haha, sorry I made you hungry! Maybe go out and buy some good ramen if there's no where with Beef Noodles around!
