Simple Raw Tomato Juice

Simple Raw Tomato Juice

My friends and I were chatting the other day about how we all had a specific drink we always drink when traveling on an airplane, and really no where else.  For example, one of them always drinks Ginger Ale on the plane.  For me, I almost always get Tomato Juice!  I got to thinking… why only on the plane?  Tomatoes are ridiculously good for you – packed with Vitamin A, Vitamin C, folic acid, and antioxidants.  So today, I made my own!  At home… with fresh tomatoes.  Beat that, airplane tomato juice!

Ingredients

  • 1 large tomato
  • 1 tbsp Honey or maple syrup, to taste
  • Ice
Tomato Juice

Instructions

1.  Cut your tomato in to wedges.

2.  Throw tomato wedge, honey, and ice in to a blender.

3.  Blend on high for a couple of minutes (until well blended).

I'd like to think I wouldn't just eat the tomatoes, but that's probably a lie... :-P

Excellent! And you don't even need a juicer to make it.
