King’s Chicken at Politan Row (Peachtree Corners)

Published: Jan 22, 2026 by Tina Tsai Β· This post may contain affiliate links Β· Leave a Comment

I was recently invited to attend an influencer preview event for King's Chicken, ahead of the opening of their new location at Politan Row Food Hall in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. It was a fun, food‑forward night filled with great eats, local creators, and a lively food hall atmosphere - exactly the kind of event I love covering!

If you're a fan of comforting, Southern‑style flavors and crispy fried chicken, this is one spot you'll want to have on your radar.

πŸ“ The Location: Politan Row Food Hall

King's Chicken is opening inside Politan Row, the food hall located at The Forum in Peachtree Corners. If you haven't been, it's a bright, modern space with a central bar, plenty of seating, and a great mix of food vendors - perfect for meeting friends or trying multiple spots in one visit.

The energy during the event was upbeat and social, with creators mingling, cameras out, and trays of food constantly making the rounds.

πŸ— What We Tried at King's Chicken

Note: Some items sampled at the event may differ slightly from the everyday menu at this location.

We had the chance to sample a wide spread of their menu, and everything leaned heavily into classic comfort food done well!

King’s Chicken

Chicken of course!

The chicken tenders were crispy on the outside and juicy inside - the kind of fried chicken that's flavorful without being heavy.

We also tried bone-in chicken during the event; however, this location will focus primarily on tenders and select menu offerings, so availability may vary. But DEFINITELY check it out if you are visiting another King's Chicken location!

Chicken Salad Sandwich

Chicken Salad Sandwich

One surprise favorite: the chicken salad sandwich. My fiancΓ© Chris is usually not a chicken salad person, but even he thought this one was genuinely delicious - creamy, meaty, well‑balanced, and easy to inhale I did to everything else πŸ˜‚

Sides (Don't Skip These)

The sides were a standout across the board:

  • Creamy mac & cheese - rich, cheesy, and easily one of the highlights of the night
  • Collard greens - tender and well‑seasoned
  • Hop N John (Black‑eyed peas w/ Rice) - hearty and comforting
  • Crispy French Fries - crispy comfort food
  • Fried JalapeΓ±o Chips & King's Sauce

The fried jalapeΓ±o chips were addictive, but the real star was King's Sauce. It was so good we ended up dipping everything into it... chicken, fries, jalapeΓ±os… all fair game!

Ceasar-Tini Salad

Ceasar-Tini Salad

One item I didn't get to try at the event but definitely have my eye on is their Caesar-Tini Salad. It's a Caesar salad served in a martini glass (yes, really), and it previously went viral on TikTok. It looks fun, over-the-top, and very on-brand for a food hall moment. Definitely on my list to try on a future visit.

πŸ‘‹ Meeting the Team

I also had the chance to meet Steve Mallard, the owner of King's Chicken. It was great putting a face to the brand and celebrating the opening of their newest location. I always love seeing local restaurants grow and expand, especially into spaces like Politan Row!

πŸ” Grand Opening Details

King's Chicken officially opens on:

πŸ“… Friday, January 30, 2026
πŸ“ Politan Row Food Hall
πŸ“ The Forum, Peachtree Corners, GA

If you're in the area and looking for a new fried chicken spot - especially one with solid sides and a fun food hall setting - this is definitely worth checking out!

Final Thoughts

Between the crispy fried chicken, standout sides (hello, mac & cheese), and the lively food hall atmosphere, King's Chicken feels like a great addition to Peachtree Corners. Whether you're stopping in for a quick bite or meeting friends for a casual night out, it's an easy, satisfying option.

Congrats to the King's Chicken team on their second location!!

Disclosure: I was invited to attend this influencer preview event. As always, all opinions are my own.
