Last night we got to attend a VIP preview event at Xing Fu Tang, where they were showcasing their brand-new Lunar New Year drink series - and honestly it was adorable, festive, and very on-theme.

If you've ever been to Xing Fu Tang, you already know they don't really do boring drinks. Everything is a little extra - from the brown sugar pearls cooked fresh in front of you to the over-the-top toppings - and this seasonal menu definitely followed that tradition.
These drinks are limited time only, so they're basically here for the holiday and then gone.
I filmed a quick look at the event - here's what it was like:
The Lunar New Year Menu
Along with the drinks we tried, the full seasonal lineup included:
- Chocolate Beary Crush
- Prosperity Trio Milk
- Strawberry Beary Crush
- Mango Beary Crush
- Matcha Beary Crush
- Lucky Red Bean Milk
- Golden Citrus Tea
(Some locations may vary slightly.)
What We Ordered
Chocolate Beary Crush

This one immediately grabbed everyone's attention because… well… bear.
A chocolate bear melts into the drink as you mix it, turning the milk rich and cocoa-y. It leans toward dessert rather than tea - sweet, creamy, and very photo-friendly.
Think chocolate milk + brown sugar boba energy.
Good choice if you:
- love sweet drinks
- want something fun and shareable
- are there for the experience
Prosperity Trio Milk (with taro)

It's richer but balanced - creamy milk, taro flavor ( choose taro), and multiple toppings representing abundance for the new year. Compared to the chocolate drink, this one felt more drinkable instead of just a novelty.
Cute Extras from the Event
They also had some themed giveaways at the VIP preview - including an adorable panda tea set and little panda plushies 🐼
Totally unnecessary to the drinks themselves, but it honestly made the event feel even more festive and Lunar New Year-y. Very on brand for Xing Fu Tang's playful style.

The Event Atmosphere
The whole event leaned into Lunar New Year vibes - red decor, festive packaging, and lots of people filming drinks from every angle 😆
Definitely one of those "content + snacks" kind of nights.
Worth Trying?
If you already like Xing Fu Tang → yes
If you like seasonal menus → yes
If you like cute holiday drinks → definitely yes
These are holiday treats, not everyday drinks - the kind you grab with friends and post before finishing.
And since they're seasonal, they'll disappear after the holiday.
So if you're curious… now's the time.
