Red Crawfish is one of those Gwinnett spots that blends Cajun seafood boil flavors with Asian-Cajun flair. It's not a traditional Asian restaurant, but it definitely fits into the broader Asian Food Atlanta world - seafood boils, garlicky buttery sauces, grilled jumbo squid, wings, po' boys, and more.

This is the kind of place where you can go all in on a seafood boil, order a bunch of wings and sides to share, or mix and match a little bit of everything. I've had their seafood boil before and loved it, and on a more recent visit we tried the grilled jumbo squid, Cajun spice wings, buffalo shrimp po' boy, and fried okra.
I'll keep updating this post as I try more from the menu, but for now, here's what I recommend ordering at Red Crawfish.
About Red Crawfish
Red Crawfish, also known as Red Crawfish Seafood & Wings, is a Cajun-Asian seafood restaurant with locations in the metro Atlanta area, including Lawrenceville and Loganville.
A 2018 local news article about the Loganville location quoted owner Chen Tsay describing their specialty as a low country boil that is "kind of like Cajun Creole" but with "a little Asian flair." That makes so much sense after trying the food - the flavors are bold, saucy, garlicky, and super flavorful.
The Lawrenceville location is near Sugarloaf Mills, making it a convenient spot if you're in the Duluth/Lawrenceville/Suwanee area and craving seafood, wings, or something casual and flavorful.
What to Order at Red Crawfish
Here are some of the dishes I've tried and would recommend, especially if it's your first time visiting.
Seafood Boil
I've had the seafood boil at Red Crawfish before, and it was delicious. I don't have photos from that visit yet, but the seafood boil is definitely worth trying - especially if you like that garlicky, buttery Cajun spice flavor.
This is their classic order if you're going for the full Red Crawfish experience. The sauce is bold, savory, and packed with flavor, and it's a great choice if you're going with people who want to share.
Sorry there's no picture of this one yet! I'll update this post when I get a good photo.
Fried Okra
If you like fried okra, get it! The portion was huge, so it would be a great appetizer or side to share if you're ordering a few things for the table.
I also liked that it was lightly breaded and crispy without feeling overly heavy.

Cajun Spice Wings
The wings are so good! They were fat, juicy, and full of flavor - exactly how I want wings to be.
And yes, I know it might feel funny to order wings at a seafood restaurant, but do not skip them. They are absolutely worth ordering. We got the Cajun spice flavor, and it tasted like the same flavorful seasoning/sauce they use for the seafood boils - garlicky, savory, buttery, and packed with Cajun spice flavor.
The wings also came with fries, which made it a really satisfying order. If you're going to Red Crawfish and don't feel like doing a full seafood boil, the wings are absolutely worth trying.

Buffalo Shrimp Po' Boy
If you're in a po' boy mood, try the buffalo shrimp po' boy. The shrimp had good flavor, and you can choose fries or veggies on the side.
I recommend getting the veggies! They weren't bland at all - they were cooked with a tasty sauce and made the whole meal feel a little more balanced.
This is a good option if you want something handheld instead of a seafood boil or wings. It's casual, filling, and still has that seafood flavor.

Grilled Jumbo Squid
The grilled jumbo squid is my favorite dish I've tried here so far. It was super flavorful, smoky, and fun to eat - definitely one of those dishes that makes the meal feel more special.
Also, they weren't joking when they said jumbo. It was huge!
I love that this is on the menu because it gives Red Crawfish something a little different from a standard Cajun seafood spot. If you like squid, this is definitely worth ordering.

Final Thoughts
Red Crawfish is a fun spot for Cajun-Asian seafood, wings, and casual comfort food in Lawrenceville. The food is bold, flavorful, and satisfying, and I love that the menu has a mix of seafood boil classics, wings, po' boys, fried sides, and Asian-Cajun touches.
If you're near Sugarloaf Mills or looking for a flavorful seafood and wings spot in Gwinnett, Red Crawfish is worth checking out - especially for the Cajun spice wings, grilled jumbo squid, and seafood boil.
