If you love Ferris wheels and are visiting Kaohsiung, you will be happy to learn that there are two you can check out! And while you’re there you can also do some awesome shopping!

The Dream Mall (夢時代購物中心) in Kaohsiung is not only the largest shopping mall in Taiwan, but also the largest in East Asia.  Unfortunately we didn’t stroll very long, as we came here after a whole day of sightseeing around Kaohsiung, and we were ready for some food in our tummies.

As you probably already know, Taiwan is an island.  So it is not at all surprising that seafood is as common as any other food here.  For example, here’s what I had for lunch at the food court of a mall called New Century (大統新世紀) yesterday:
