Hi-Lai Harbour Buffet in Kaohsiung – All You Can Eat Feast at 漢來海港

Published: Apr 19, 2012 · Modified: Aug 11, 2025 by Tina Tsai · This post may contain affiliate links · 11 Comments

If you love buffets, Kaohsiung's Hi-Lai Harbour (漢來海港) is a must-visit. Located inside the Hanlai Hotel / 漢來大飯店 next to the Hanshin Arena Mall (漢神巨蛋), this upscale all-you-can-eat spot is legendary for its massive variety and quality offerings - from fresh sashimi to sizzling teppanyaki, juicy roast meats, dim sum, noodles, and even Häagen-Dazs ice cream. Oh, and did I mention? Unlimited wine. 🍷

I originally visited years ago and ate until I nearly exploded (zero regrets), but I recently went back and it's just as epic - maybe even better!

ALL YOU CAN EAT heaven in Kaohsiung! 🍽️ Hi-Lai Harbour (漢來海港) at the Hi-Lai Branch seriously delivers - steak, fresh sashimi, crab, sizzling teppanyaki, juicy roast meats, dim sum, noodles, soup, desserts (hello Häagen-Dazs 🍨), and even all-you-can-drink wine. I went in hungry and rolled out in a food coma 😂 📍漢來海港餐廳 高雄漢來店 Would you eat your way through this buffet too? #TaiwanEats #KaohsiungFood #TaiwanBuffet #HiLaiHarbour #漢來海港 #FoodieFinds #SeafoodLovers #AsianBuffet #TravelEats

I originally visited years ago and ate until I nearly exploded (zero regrets), but I recently went back and it's just as epic - maybe even better!

What to Expect at Hi-Lai Harbour Buffet:

This isn't your typical buffet - it's high-end, beautifully organized, and absolutely packed with delicious options. Here are just a few of the stations:

  • 🥩 Meat Station: Grilled steak, roast lamb, pork chops, sausages
  • 🦐 Seafood & Sashimi: Fresh tuna, salmon, clams, mussels, shrimp, octopus
  • 🍤 Teppanyaki & Hot Dishes: Cooked-to-order seafood and meats
  • 🥟 Dim Sum & Noodles: A variety of dumplings and noodles
  • 🥗 Salads, Veggies & Sides
  • 🍰 Desserts Galore: Cakes, pastries, and a full selection of Häagen-Dazs
  • 🍷 Beverage Station: Fresh juices, coffee, and even unlimited wine and beer

My first plate I got some steak, pork, grilled fish, stir fry calamari, steamed fish and stir fry gourd.

And then I went straight sashimi after that:

And then I lost count LOL. There were many many plates and bowls of delicious food, so here is a bunch of pictures I took:

Oh did I mention there was also all you can drink wine? (And other beverages.)

Lots and lots and lots of dessert as well, including delicious Häagen-Dazs ice cream, but my favorite was this soufle:

By the way, just so you know, this was all for about $25.00 US DOLLARS per person!!! What a deal! I definitely 100% recommend you visit this restaurant if you are ever in the vicinity of Kaohsiung, Taiwan!

Thanks for commenting and liking! They were prime rib, some steak, and pork chops I believe... it's been weeks now - I wish I was back there!

Haha, it's something you got to get used to I guess if you're not used to seeing it in fish form, but that one was definitely 100% grilled and ready to be eaten!

Your second plate is almost entirely meat, too.

lol true.... but I guess I define meat as non-seafood.... when really seafood is ALSO meat... Maybe I should say 'land-meat' next time haha
