Paleo Valentine’s Day Recipes Galore!!

Posted by

All right, maybe not a GALORE, but I did find some good Valentine’s day recipes if you are looking to eat in for your romantic festivities.  I got appetizers, entrees, side dishes, and desserts!

Appetizer

Beet and Parsnip Soup with Cashew Cream

Oysters (Here’s how to enjoy oysters at home) – WHY the hell not!  Oysters are sexy.  Don’t believe me??  Well, I don’t care, but here’s an article about oysters being aphrodisiacs.

Beet and Parsnip Soup with Cashew Cream – This one is just adorbs.  The color is very Valentines-y and look at that heart!

Tomato Basil Soup – Not in to beets?  NO PROBLEMO.  How about this Tomato Basil Soup? It’s also a V-day color, and plus, YUM!

Entree

Balsamic Chicken with Roasted Tomatoes

Balsamic Marinated Flank Steak and Grilled Veggies – To be honest, I just like steaks.  I think that this would be a great entree to make as your bf/gf/spouse/person you are dating but not sure what your titles are yet probably loves steaks too.

Balsamic Chicken with Tomatoes – All right, let’s say as it turns out, that steak idea was crap because it turns out your bf/gf/spouse/vague person you’re hanging out with actually doesn’t like steak.  How’s about this Balsamic Chicken?  Healthy and delish.

Easy Spice Roasted Chicken Leg Quarters – This one is super easy.  Really, all it is rubbing chicken with spices, and then baking it.  You can prepare other things while it’s in the oven, or better yet, do… other Valentine’s day activities ;)

Side Dishes

Paleo Broccolini Wrapped In Bacon

Mango, Tomato, and Mushroom Stir Fry – LOOK at them colors.  It’s pretty and it’s delicious.

Paleo Broccolini Wrapped In Bacon – Well, first off, everything wrapped in bacon is a winner, second, I feel like people don’t eat enough broccolini, so get on it.

Buttery Oven Roasted Mushrooms – I like including an easy recipe here and there as an option as for some of us, “ain’t no body got time for that“, so here’s a simple but yummy one.

Sweets

Double Chocolate Strawberry Cake

Valentine’s Day Almond Butter Blondies with One Ingredient Ice “Cream” – Obviously, you can just have one or the other, but I think TOGETHER, it might taste like heaven.

Chocolate Caramels – Caramel fans will love this one and should try it!

Double Chocolate Strawberry Cake – This one looks super sexy.  If I wasn’t a lazy ass, I’d probably go for this one.
