Oven Roasted Brussels Sprouts - I'm a weirdo and love Brussels Sprouts. It's funny because I don't actually recall ever having them when I was younger. So maybe that is why I never learned to hate them at a young age (though I never did have a "I hate veggies" stage).
I will admit I've had brussels sprouts that were made... not so tasty. But it doesn't have to be this way! It's so easy to make yummy tasting brussels sprouts! For example, this super easy oven roasted brussels sprouts!
By the way, Brussels Sprouts are super healthy for you! Brussels sprouts are packed with vitamin A, vitamin C, folacin, potassium, and calcium. Plus… they do look like tiny cabbages… which is pretty entertaining.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ lbs Brussels Sprouts
- 3 tablespoon Melted Coconut Oil (or cooking oil/fat of choice)
- Salt and pepper, as desired
Ingredients
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
With a knife cut off the ends of the Brussels sprouts.
Place in a bowl with the olive oil, salt and pepper and mix well together.
Pour them on a baking pan and bake for 20 minutes. Shake the pan for even browning. (If you suck at this 'shaking' business, you can also just take it out and flip them around manually.)

Pop them back in the oven for another 20 minutes.

Serve in a plate (or not... I can't tell you what to do).
