Make your own tasty Garlic Parmesan Wings in the Air Fryer! One of the reasons I got an air fryer was because I love fried crispy food, such as chicken wings, but it always pains me to know that frying food involves a crapload of unhealthy oil. With an Air Fryer, I can use so much less oil and still have my delicious fried food too!
Of course if Garlic Parmesan isn’t your favorite wing flavor, you can also mix it up! I actually usually make half of the wings Garlic Parm, and the other half I make hot wings with buffalo sauce!
If you’re trying buffalo sauce, pick your favorite buffalo sauce and toss. If you’re looking for recommendations, I recently tried Noble Made Buffalo Sauce – and I have to say I am a fan! It’s Whole30 Approved, Paleo, Keto, and Gluten Free!
These wings are easy and perfect for enjoying as lunch or dinner on any day, but also it’s perfect for something to munch on at a Super Bowl party! I actually feature it here on my Keto Super Bowl Recipes round up!
Ingredients
- 2 lb chicken wings
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp parsley
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Cooking spray
Ingredients
Spray the basket the air fryer with cooking spray.
Place chicken wings on air frying basket and space evenly. If you have more wings than fits in your air fryer (like me), then you’re going to want to either do it in two batches or you could technically stack it. However, if you do stack it just know that the more skin that is exposed, the crispier the chicken wings will be. I did this in two batches.
Air fry at 400˚F for 8 minutes on one side. It will look slightly cooked.
Remove basket, and flip the wings to their other side. Air fry for another 10-15 or until chicken wings are crisp and golden brown on the outside. While this is happening, prepare the garlic parmesan sauce.
Prepare the sauce by melting butter in a microwave safe bowl. Add garlic powder, salt, pepper, parmesan cheese, and parsley, and combine well.
When wings are ready, remove from air fryer. Should look golden crispy. I like to also double check it’s done by cutting one of the fattest ones open and check it’s well done cause no one wants raw chicken!
Toss wings with the sauce in a large mixing bowl.
Place on a serving plate and enjoy!

So yummy! I pinned for that day I finally get an air fryer. I wish they'd figure out a way to allow bigger batches without layering the food on itself, yes?

I agree! Technically you can cook these wings overlapping though, it's just that the more that 'touches the air' , the more crispy it is. So if you don't care about the crisp, you can always just go over it in one go!
