What is the Keto Diet?
The keto diet or aka ketogenic diet is a low carb, high fat diet. It involves reducing carbs intake and replacing that with fat. This causes your body to go in to a metabolic state called ketosis.
What happens when you’re in ketosis is your body becomes super efficient at burning fat for energy. It also turns fat in to ketones in the liver, which means energy for the brain and has other health benefits also.
Remember that the recipes below are all low carb recipes. However, to follow your keto diet successfully, you will want to check out the exact carbohydrates (minus the fiber) to make sure you are within your carbohydrate goals.
