How to make Sautéed Asparagus Mushroom
First gather your ingredients:
- 8 oz asparagus, trimmed, chopped into 2 inch pieces
- 8 oz button mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tbsp cooking oil of choice
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp chopped Ham and/or Bacon (Optional – I love adding this when we have leftover ham or bacon, but it’s optional)
- Salt, as desired
If you haven’t already, using a knife trim the asparagus and also chop it in to 2 inch pieces. Also slice the mushrooms.
Add the cooking oil in to a large skillet and let it heat up for about a minute. When heated, add garlic, ham and bacon. Add mushrooms in to the skillet and stir fry for about 3 minutes.
Add asparagus in to the skillet and stir fry for another 4 minutes or until mushrooms and asparagus is tender and cooked thoroughly.
Add salt as desired, and then stir to combine. Remove from heat and serve!
