Air Fryer Red Potatoes

Air Fryer Red Potatoes

I love my air fryer because it’s so easy to cook anything in it! My latest veggie side dish made in the Air Fryer is Air Fryer Red Potatoes. This method makes is crispy on the outside, tasty and tender on the inside, perfect side dish for any entrée!

By the way, potatoes are healthy for you! I know people tend to think they’re just calories and carbs these days but actually they’re also super nutritious – just to start:

Vitamin C – They’re packed with Vitamin C. Especially the skin!

Potassium – Potatoes actually have more potassium than a banana!

Vitamin B6 – One potato is already about 10% of your daily needs for this important vitamin!

And, that’s just 3 of many health benefits. So that’s why I don’t feel horrible eating them here and there. Obviously, I don’t recommend having like 10 potatoes a day or anything, but they are quite nutritious as a side or appetizer!

How to cook Red Potatoes in the Air Fryer

Let’s get to it! Here’s how to cook red potatoes in the air fryer. You can use my spice mix or if you prefer any other spices feel free to try them out!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb red potatoes, halved (or quartered if they’re on the bigger side)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper as desired

Directions

Pre heat Air Fryer to 400°F. If you haven’t already, clean your potatoes and then cut them.

In a large bowl, toss potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, oregano, cayenne, paprika, and salt and pepper. If you’re not sure how much salt and pepper to add, just add a little first as you can always add more later.

Transfer potatoes to the air fryer basket, and let it cook for 10 minutes.

Remove basket from air fryer and give it a few shakes. Then allow it took for another 10 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked thoroughly.

Remove from heat and serve!
