Air Fryer Baby Carrots

Air Fryer Baby Carrots

It’s officially Spring today – which means that carrots are in season! I don’t eat carrots very often, but I really should because they’re super healthy for you. Carrots are a good source of beta carotene, fiber, vitamin K1, and potassium and promote eye health! This Air Fryer Baby Carrots Recipe is super easy to make and a great addition to any entrée! The spice blend is perfect!

How are baby carrots are made

Baby carrots are made from larger carrots! Large carrots are put in to a machine that basically cuts it down to about 2 inches. Then, it goes through peeling tanks where peelers rotate and scrap off the skin and rounds the carrots out too. This is why they are so small and round!

How long to air fry baby carrots

In this recipe, you air fry a total of 16 minutes. Half way through, you’ll remove the basket and give it a little shake and put it back in for another 8 minutes.

Customize it!

The spice blend in this recipe is just one way to dress up carrots! Feel free to give your favorite spices a try. If you’re looking for ideas – you can try making a ‘sweet’ version instead of my ‘savory’ version by using brown sugar (or coconut sugar if paleo), and cinnamon!
